Post-wise Eligibility, Pay Scale, and Age Limit

Warder (Male Only)
- Pay Scale: Level 3 (₹21,700 - ₹69,100)
- Age Limit: 18-27 years
- Essential Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass.
- Physical Standards: Height: 170 cm, Chest: 81-85 cm. (Relaxable for certain categories)
- Physical Endurance Test: 1600 meters race in 6 minutes, 13 ft long jump, and 3'9" high jump.
PGT Posts (English, Sanskrit, etc.)
- Pay Scale: Level 8 (₹47,600 - ₹1,51,100)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years
- Essential Qualification: Master's Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks + B.Ed.
Domestic Science Teacher
- Pay Scale: Level 7 (₹44,900 - ₹1,42,400)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Domestic Science/Home Science + B.Ed with Home Science as a teaching subject.
Malaria Inspector
- Pay Scale: Level 6 (₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400)
- Age Limit: 18-27 years
- Essential Qualification: Matric with Science + Sanitary Inspector's Diploma + 3 years' experience.
Technician & Assistant (Operation Theatre)
- Technician Pay Scale: Level 4 (₹25,500 - ₹81,100)

- Age Limit: 18-27 years
- Essential Qualification: 10+2 with Science + Operation Room Assistant Course. Technician post requires 5 years of experience.

Fee Details and Exemptions
- For General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹100/- (One Hundred only)
- For Women, SC, ST, PwBD & Ex-Servicemen: No Fee
Mode of Payment
The application fee must be paid online through SBI e-pay only. Other modes of payment will not be accepted.
DSSSB Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
Examination Scheme
The selection will be made through One-Tier or Two-Tier examination schemes depending on the post. The examination will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- For General Posts (like Warder): A 2-hour exam with 200 questions covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi Language, and English Language (40 marks each).
- For Technical/Teaching Posts: The exam is divided into two sections. Section A (100 marks) covers general subjects, and Section B (100 or 200 marks) covers subject-specific questions.
Negative Marking
Yes, negative marking is applicable. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong MCQ answer.
Mode of Selection
Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test/Exam. For some posts like Warder, a Physical Endurance Test (PET) will be conducted, which is qualifying in nature.
