BHEL Artisan Recruitment - Age Limit
The upper age limit as of 1st July 2025 is as follows:
- General/EWS: 27 years
- OBC (NCL): 30 years
- SC/ST: 32 years
Age relaxation for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Ex-Servicemen will be as per government rules.
BHEL Artisan Recruitment - Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications to be eligible:
- Class X (Matriculation)
- PLUS National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) in the respective trade.
- PLUS National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the same trade.
Minimum Marks Required: Candidates must have secured not less than 60% marks for General/OBC and 55% marks for SC/ST categories in both their NTC/ITI and NAC.
BHEL Artisan Recruitment - Salary
Selected candidates will undergo a temporary employment period before regularization.
- Initially, selected candidates will be engaged as Temporary Employees for one year and will be paid consolidated wages.
- On successful completion of this period, they will be regularized as Artisan Grade-IV.
- The regular pay scale will be ₹29,500 - ₹65,000/-, plus applicable allowances.
BHEL Artisan Recruitment - Selection Process
The selection process for the Artisan Grade-IV posts will be based on:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): An online examination will be conducted tentatively in mid-September.
- Skill Test: Candidates who qualify the CBT may be required to undergo a skill test, depending on the trade.
