Fellowship Stipend for DRDO JRF
Selected candidates will receive a handsome monthly stipend along with other benefits as per government rules.

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria as of 29th October 2025.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have one of the following qualifications in CSE or ECE (or allied branches):
- B.E./B.Tech. in the first division with a valid GATE score.
- OR, M.E./M.Tech. in the first division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
Selection Process for JRF Vacancy
The selection process will be conducted in two stages:
- Shortlisting: Applications received via email will be scrutinized, and candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and fulfillment of criteria.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interview may be conducted online through Video Conferencing or in a physical (offline) mode. The date, time, and mode will be communicated via email/SMS.
Fellowship Tenure
This is a temporary fellowship for a maximum of 5 years. The initial tenure will be for 2 years as a JRF, which can be elevated to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the remaining 3 years based on performance.
