⚠️ Super Important: Check Your Academic Marks!

Beyond the basic qualifications, there's a strict rule that you must have a certain minimum percentage of marks throughout your entire academic career (from 10th grade onwards). This is a common reason for rejection, so please read the official notification very carefully for this specific rule.

Exam Pattern & Your Winning Strategy

Selection for both jobs is through a Computer Based Test (CBT), but the pattern is different for each.

For Technician (CBT + Skill Test)

Your written test will have a 60% focus on your technical ITI trade and 40% on general subjects. The final merit list will be based on your combined score from the CBT and a Skill Test.

For Junior Assistant (CBT Only)

Your selection will depend only on your CBT score, which will cover English, Odia, GK, Maths, and Reasoning.

💡 Your Secret Weapon for the Exam: No Negative Marking!

This is a huge advantage! The official notification confirms that there is NO negative marking for wrong answers in either exam. This means your strategy should be simple:

  1. Answer all the questions you are 100% sure about first.
  2. Do not leave a single question unanswered. For the ones you're not sure about, make an educated guess. A wrong answer costs you nothing, but a lucky guess earns you a full mark!
