Your Strategic Guide to the Multi-Stage Selection Process

💡 Super Important: Every Post Has a Different Exam Path!

Pay close attention here. Unlike most exams, the selection process for these jobs is completely different for each type of post. You must know the exact stages for the role you applied for. Also, remember that all MCQ tests have a 0.25 negative marking.

For Book Binder, Sweeper & Chowkidar (2-Step Process)

  1. Tier 1: Written Test (100 Marks): This is an objective test covering English, Hindi, GK, and basic Math. Your score here is the most important factor.
  2. Tier 2: Interview (15 Marks): The final step to assess if you're the right fit for the job.

For Driver/Staff Car Driver (3-Step Process)

  1. Tier 1: Written Test (100 Marks): Same as the one above.
  2. Tier 2: Driving/Skill Test: This is a pass/fail test. You have to clear it, but your marks here won't be added to the final total.
  3. Tier 3: Interview (15 Marks): The final selection round.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO) Grade-A (4-Step Process)

  1. Tier 1: Written Test (120 Marks): This test focuses on English, GK, and General Intelligence.
  2. Tier 2: Descriptive Test (100 Marks): Here, your writing skills will be checked through essays and grammar questions.
  3. Tier 3: Skill Test: This is a pass/fail typing test where you need to achieve a speed of 40 words per minute.
  4. Tier 4: Interview (15 Marks): The final interview for selection.

💡 Must-Do Things for Exam Day

  • Read the Instructions: The back of your admit card has important rules. Read them carefully, especially the list of things you're not allowed to bring.
  • Pack Your Documents: You'll need three things: your admit card printout, a valid original photo ID (like an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License), and a recent passport-sized photograph.
  • Get There Early: Plan to reach your exam center at least 30-45 minutes before the reporting time written on your admit card. This will save you from any last-minute stress.
