ECIL Senior Artisan Age Limit
The cut-off date for calculating age is 31/05/2025.
- Maximum Age Limit (UR): 30 years
Age Relaxation:
Age relaxation for reserved categories is applicable as per government directives.
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD: 10 years over and above the category relaxation.

ECIL Senior Artisan Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed ITI (2 years) in the respective trade (Electronics Mechanic / Electrician / Fitter).

ECIL Senior Artisan Selection Process
The selection process is based on merit and does not involve a written examination. The stages are as follows:
- Shortlisting of Candidates: Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:4 ratio based on the marks obtained in their ITI qualification, trade-wise and category-wise.
- Tie-Breaking Criteria:
- In case of a tie in ITI marks, the candidate with higher marks in Class 10th will be preferred.
- If the tie persists, the candidate with an earlier date of birth will be considered.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification at Hyderabad. An email will be sent to eligible candidates for the same.
- Final Merit List: After successful document verification, a final list of recommended candidates will be prepared based on merit.
